Summary


Nanong Khotpathoum is the Director of Earth Systems Lao.
He is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of all
consulting activities. Previously Nanong held the position of
senior program officer with the US based NGO Consortium.
He has also held a number of senior positions in the
Government of Lao.

consultation during the preparation of the Environmental and
Social Impact Assessment.

Nam Theun 2 Hydropower Project

Government Issues Expert, Nam Theun Electricity Consortium.
Assisted in the preparation of detailed Terms of Reference and
a draft Compensation Agreement for the conduct of a land and
assets Baseline Study in project affected areas.

Workshop Facilitator, Environmental and Social Issues Management
for the Sepon Gold Mining Project, International Finance Corporation.

Project Coordinator for an Environmental & Social Impact
Assessment of the Sepon Gold and Copper Mine, Savannakhet
Province.

Study Coordinator, Regulative Framework Pertaining to Natural
Resource & Environment and its Relevance to the Department of
