Livelihood Specialist, Nam Theun 2 Downstream Restoration Program.
Assist the Socio-economist and Poverty Reduction Specialist for
the conduct of a livelihood assessment in 20 pilot villages along
the Nam Phit and Xe Bang Fai rivers. Responsible for the coordination
socio-economic surveys and various consultative activities.
Environmental Engineer, Strengthening Environmental Management
Project Phase 1, Environmental Impact Assessment Division, SIDA /
STEA. Responsible for the coordination of capacity building activities in
the field of EIA including: development of an EIA Registry for Lao PDR,
review of regulative framework; review of EIA reports; and conduct of
formal environmental audits of over 20 projects.
Environment and Social Impact Evaluation Specialist, Small-Scale
irrigation Sector Project. Responsible for the development of SIA
and EIA methodologies suitable for small-scale irrigation schemes;
preparation of impact assessment reports and training manuals for
government staff.
Environmental Engineer, Theun-Hinboun Hydroelectric Project. Responsible
for the conduct of technical and social feasibility studies for the installation
of water supply infrastructure in 55 downstream villages; supervision of
construction activities; development of environmental and community
monitoring program encompassing fish catch, water quality, erosion,
sericulture, and community grienvance.
